Access Wellbeing Services

Professional Supervision

Our Professional Clinical Supervision service provides a confidential and supportive space for professional development, reflection, learning and growth.

Professional Supervision provides a space for practitioners to reflect and review, access information, and learn new skills to enhance self-care, build resilience and self-confidence.

This important practice is paramount to maintaining best practice and addressing ethical and professional standards. We support our supervisees’ development through individual and group supervision, delivered face-to-face or over the phone.

All our Supervisors have tertiary qualifications in either Social Work, Counselling, or Psychology and hold professional affiliations with relevant professional bodies. Our team members possess extensive skills, knowledge and experience in the delivery of Professional Supervision.

AWS Supervisors continue to engage in regular professional development training, as well as attending ongoing monthly individual supervision of their own, ensuring best practice standards are maintained.

Our Supervision Framework:

AWS Supervision provides a balance of the three main functions of supervision: Professional Learning, Support and Accountability. Our supervisors use reflective and culturally appropriate supervision models and draw upon a range of evidence-based theories, models and tools, according to the interests and needs of our supervisees and their clients.
